This year's reenactment
was dedicated
to:
Pvt. Nimrod Weese, and Cpl.
William R. Moore,
both of the 10th West Virginia Infantry, Company H.
Moore and Weese
were mustered into the Union troops at Beverly on Nov. 15, 1862.
Weese was wounded Nov. 6, 1863, at Droop Mountain and mustered out
Aug. 20, 1865. Moore was mustered out June 26, 1865.
Both men were
from Belington.
Private Weese was a relative of Ruby Wagner
